Featured: Aqua Ch'i is uplifting and accessible @ The Berkeley High Warm Pool

Spiritwalking: Aqua Ch’i™ is an aquatic blend of ancient movement practices. Participants use the support offered by the water to perform these moves while walking a pattern around floating symbols. Specially designed music encourages participants to become more centered and to relax deeply. Breathing patterns enhance the flow of ch’i.

Ana Berlowitz is guided through the movements by hydrotherapist Alon Altman.  As they navigate the labyrinth (at the Berkeley High School Warm Pool), both Ana and Alon experience an increase in chi energy and reduced tension.

This class is attended consistently by a loyal base of supporters. One says it has been the most instrumental modality for the healing of her bilateral knee replacements; another, a relative newcomer to the class, is finding it beneficial for a lower back problem. One older woman joined for 3 consecutive classes and has greatly improved her balance; she’s is able to walk and do movements simultaneously now.

We all love our class and create some good chi energy to send out to the universe.
